As Dean it gives me great pleasure to say, on behalf of all the students and faculty at the School of Dentistry, University of Liverpool, how thrilled we are that ADEE is coming to our city in 2023.
Liverpool has been a centre of dental training since 1861, but today we offer what we believe to be current, innovative and, importantly, evidence-based education. We are delighted that we will have the opportunity to say something about this as part of the conference programme.
We very much look forward to meeting the many colleagues who will converge on our city in August, to discuss the challenges of our role as dental educators, exchange ideas, tell you something about our school, and simply be part of this hugely exciting meeting.
Liverpool is one of the world’s great port cities, and a fascinating place to visit. The conference venues are exceptional and very new facilities, and the social events will give delegates a real flavour of the history and culture of our city. However, the many attractions of the city are not just historic and the culture remains vibrant and varied. A unique and very warm welcome awaits!
