ADEE Office

Denis has been Chief Administrative Officer of ADEE since 2013. He holds a Doctorate in Professional Regulatory Governance, a Masters of Business Administration, an MSc in Business and Management Research Methodologies and a PG Certificate in Professional Educational Practice. He has served as a ministerial appointed lay member of the Nursing and Midwifery Regulator in Ireland (2013 to 2022) where he chaired its Preliminary Proceedings Committee (2017-2022). He was subsequently appointed to the council of CORU (Ireland's Health and Social Care Regulator) in 2023 becoming its deputy chairperson in 2025. He has been adjunct faculty with the Graduate School of Healthcare Management at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland since 2005, where he leads and teaches on two modules on the MSc Programme on Quality and Safety in Healthcare Management. His research interests include Regulatory Governance, Onboarding, Socio-Cultural Theory, Qualitative Methods, Action Research and Stakeholder Governance.

Miguel is ADEE’s resident tech wizard, graphic designer by passion, web developer by logic, tech support by destiny - he keeps ADEE online and looking good. When he’s not turning design chaos into clean layouts or rescuing websites from digital disasters, he’s probably tweaking pixels no one else will ever notice. Coffee-powered and always curious, he wears more hats than a fashion week runway and the reason “turning it off and on again” occasionally works.
