ADEE and Wiley are excited to be seeking a new Editor-in-Chief to build on the journal’s strong foundations and continue to develop the European Journal of Dental Education as a core community resource. Please click here for further details about the role and how to apply.
The successful candidate will have an international network of contacts and will also ideally have the following:
- Broad and extensive knowledge in the field
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Experience in journal publishing and editorial decision making
- Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in publishing
- Awareness and understanding of the various social, political and other factors that impact on the higher education, and oral health profession sectors in Europe and worldwide
- Awareness of relevant directives such as (but not limited to) the Professional Qualifications Directive, Mutual Recognition of Qualifications, Quality Assurance of education etc
- Proven ability with regards management of the Editorial Team of Editors and Editorial Board
- Appointment to the role also includes a commitment to serve on the ADEE Executive Committee.
